Welcome to my blog. This is where I hope you will find things to love about the Midwest like I do. I was born in the Midwest and live here with my family. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.
I love to travel. I think road trips were invented by a Midwesterner. Where else can you experience multiple seasons in one day? Some of my family trips are quirky but I find that those often have the best memories.
My husband and I enjoy finding different places to eat. We also seem to have developed a talent for trying new recipes. Some have become family favorites and some will never see my kitchen table again.

My secret passion is that I like to save money. I don’t care if it is 3 cents, I saved it. It sounds like I am cheap. I say it is good to be frugal in the Midwest.
